N/A Designer League  [那]-工作室

N/A Designer League, or in short N/A Design, is a Design Studio founded in August 2022, focusing on various experimental design tasks. We are seeking the complexity of merging and balancing commerces and experimental creativities. From the foundation, we’ve been accepting and handling requests of brand identity design, user interface design, promotional layout design, and so forth. We, as a team of creative personals, are also exploring, pushing the boundaries with our own prompts yielding self-initiated experimental designs.

The Studio has its name from the abbreviation n/a, meaning not applicable,. It also has its Chinese pun of “Na”, (那) meaning “that”-“That design Studio”.

Zack Luo  

Interaction/Graphic Designer, Manager

Zirun “Zack” Luo, AKA Lingfeng (翎锋), is an Integrated Visual/Interaction Designer Graduated from School of Visual Arts, 2022, one of the founders of N/A. He now bases himself in Nanjing, China, though having a mixed feeling (positive overall) to NYC. Upon graduation he took advantage of various design freelances and made his way into a more complex business of integrated design. He specializes in visual storytelling, graphic illustration, user interaction design and project curating. He is keen and enthusiastic about the design business, and wishes to explore a way of combining visual experiments, commerces and perfected user experiences.

Bocheng Meng

Interdisciplinary Design specialist, Director

An interdisciplinary designer, born and raised in Beijing. He is one of the founders of N/A. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design from the School of Visual Arts (SVA). His main focus is on creating interesting designs. I'm enthusiastic about connecting with his audience through design works, whether it's through interactive experiences, visual storytelling, or any other creative way.

Gaige

Animator, Illustrator, CA Specialist

--“I’m a New York based traditional & 3D animator. I create animations with details. My life is my major inspiration, by carefully observing details in my daily life, from pedestrians walking to leaves falling from the trees, I am able to capture the realistic of life in my animations. As I am both working in 2D & 3D field, I am passionate about combining the two. In this way, by maintaining the humanistic feelings of hand-drawn animation, 3D animation can help with realistic perspective by bringing in feature film-standard camera movements.”

Gaige is also one of the founders of N/A, offering the designers technical / per request visual support of vairous kinds.

Yosui Zhang

Graphic Designer, Design Intern

Zixi Zhang, (Also known as Stein, or Yosui) is a designer currently enlisted at School of Visual Arts, pursuing a BFA Design Degree. He loves Design and Illustration, also Shintoism, Japanese Youkai Culture, His Favorite Games are: Touhou Project, League of Legends, Fate Grand Order, Hollow Knight, Celeste, Stardew Valley, Kingdom Rush, Limbo, Megaman. His Favorite Shows: Tv Series including Ultramar Series, Kamen Rider Series, and Super Sentai Series Comic including Naruto, ONE PIECE.
